Happy Monday! :) I hope you guys are having a good start to your week so far!

To get a better grasp of what's being discussed on this page, a few links for reference might help out:

- The committee is made up of multiple titles based on the figures who made up the personal council in King Titus's court. 'The Scholar' is one of them, as is, of course, 'The Defender'.

- This is when Jaguar dropped in on Sir Bradley to say hello - check out the page after, too.

- This page and the next depict the moment Sir Bradley broke an oath, and finally...

- This isn't the first time this 'high-end client' seemed interested in a book. He must be really bored and wanting some good bed-time reading, eh?

I know it's been a very long time since some of these references initially happened, so I do apologise and hope it isn't too hazy - and that these links help! >3<*)7

I hope that these pages serve to help wrap up this chapter, but also connect some dots here and there to tie up some ends more neatly. :) Thanks for your patience! I'm nearly done with finishing up the chapter on my end~ >v<)b

Alright, I'm out - see you guys next Monday with a fresh update! X3 Thanks so much for reading!

Well, let's see how that works out :)

Yeah, that would be interesting to find out - at least for him... *coughabelcough*

Thank you for the update and all those links *hugs*
(awww... Nemi is so adorable (last link and next page of it)) <3

It will probably take some time before we see how it all works out, but hopefully readers can get an idea of how it *might* work out from this page. :3

And you're very welcome! I'm glad if they're helpful XD; and Nemi gets all the love as usual I see :P

They just want to flush out the imperial library I’m sure. ;)

Good end tying. Glad to see the regular updates again.

But of course, Abel is just a massive Book Nerd XD

And I'm very happy to hear that you find the end tying neat! :D I'm glad to be able to post regular updates again, too. I'm really thinking hard on how to ensure the next chapter for SF gets regular updates the whole way through. >3<*)9 Thank you for your support ;v;***

Reflections... wouldn't it be funny if it was just a bunch of pretentious poems written by an angsty 15 year old? ;-)
rufiangel 20th Sep 2018, 2:22 AM edit delete reply
It would certainly be right up Abel's alley if so, though, I must say XD

I'm just waiting to see the MASSIVE conflict when all these pieces come together...there isn't a faction left out!

Great as always to see the update, Rufi! And I saw the author's note update on the other page, and I'm hopeful that you've put all the stress behind you! D: We'll always be here to support you <3

Ehehehe Proxy - I feel like I can say the same for PA!! XD; But yes, once all the pieces come together I hope the big picture becomes very clear :D

And thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all your constant support and kind encouragement Proxy!! <33 ;v;***

Thanks for the links! It does help in remembering how we got to 'now'. The story, overall, has a lot to it, which makes it interesting.

Sir Bradley doesn't seem as concerned about any consequences for oath breaking as he is about getting to the bottom of this.
Gilrandir 4th Sep 2018, 12:51 AM edit delete reply
That's because Sir Bradley is one of those special people for whom "Personal" is not the same thing as "Important". (Thank you, Sir Terry Pratchett.)

@Gil: *tips hat* :D

@megados: I'm glad the links were helpful! :D There are a lot of comments made in passing by characters so I don't blame readers for not connecting those dots immediately XP so happy to provide some nudges and winks XD

As for Sir Bradley, you've read him spot on. Primarily he doesn't regret his actions - he wouldn't have done things any differently with a second chance. :)

Hmmm... so breaking the oath means he will be forced to step down. That's bad, but it could be worse! Let's be grateful he's NOT forced to take on Misuta Pomp as an apprentice!

Seriously, I'm guessing that the Oath was to the Lethian Guild, and not to the Clandest Council? That is bad, because it may mean that it doesn't matter how much support he has behind him, or how justified the decision was.

rufiangel 20th Sep 2018, 9:54 AM edit delete reply
It was indeed to the Lethian Guild and not the council at Jem Citadel. It might help that he's so supported, at least in the sense Sir Bradley can be glad he has people who've got his back XD;

Omg Rufiii I have fallen so behind on SF and it's a shame! I love this comic so much!! GONNA CATCH UP! GONNA DO IT!

But your pages are looking lovely and you are such a great storyteller, connecting all these dots!
rufiangel 20th Sep 2018, 9:56 AM edit delete reply
Aww geez, thank you Serpy-kins! <3 I know what you mean about falling behind on comics but don't worry, SF will still be here :P I know you've been hecka busy with all kinds of stuff so don't worry <3 thanks so much for still wanting to keep up and for your kind words! ;v;**

Hey sir Bradley you could ask the red haired cleric with scar if he has any idea what's going on.
rufiangel 20th Sep 2018, 10:21 AM edit delete reply
Hmm, that's an idea, though Sir Bradley *may* have gotten any info he needs from Kylie already ;)
